Video Coordinator

We’re looking for a Video Coordinator to join our growing team at Play.Works, the world’s leading provider of games and video content for Connected TVs. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage the day-to-day video operations of our AVOD apps, ensuring a consistent flow of fresh content that resonates with today’s audiences. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, entertainment, and digital media — and to grow with us in a fast-paced, startup environment.

 What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong video editing skills with operational excellence and a deep understanding of video trends in gaming and entertainment. You should be able to work independently, take initiative after a briefing, and confidently bring projects from idea to execution.

You’re not just a doer, you’re someone who constantly looks for ways to improve editing workflows, optimize metadata, and keep our AVOD apps fresh, aligned, and performing at their best. You’re data-driven, using analytics to guide decisions, spot patterns, and prioritize improvements.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt easily to change, and bring a structured, grounded approach to your work. You enjoy collaborating across teams, communicating clearly, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. A sharp eye for what works in today’s creator ecosystem,  especially on YouTube and TikTok, is key, as is your ability to translate those insights into clean, engaging edits that resonate with our audience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update video content across AVOD apps and CTV platforms

  • Edit promotional videos featured on major CTV platforms, ensuring alignment with platform specs

  • Manage image and video assets, including transcoding, logging, archiving, and quality control

  • Update and refine video metadata to reflect creator trends and maximize viewer engagement

  • Monitor AVOD and FAST channel schedules, supporting content planning and programming

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce promotional cuts, trailers, and launch materials

  • Support performance tracking and reporting through data analysis and insights

  • Assist with the onboarding and rollout of new apps and video launches across platforms

  • Take ownership of small projects from briefing through delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution

  • Stay current with trends in gaming, entertainment, and creator content to inform editing and curation decisions

 Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in video editing and post-production

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop (intermediate level)

  • Comfortable working with video templates in After Effects and Premiere

  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and tools like Google Sheets for content tracking and organization

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com or JIRA

  • A self-starter with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to extract insights and apply them to improve content performance

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the CTV and/or AVOD industry

  • Background in high-tech or startup environments

  • Familiarity with mainstream games (e.g., Minecraft, Fortnite) and creator-driven content

  • Strong understanding of YouTube, TikTok, and current digital content trends

  • Enthusiastic about AI tools and open to experimenting with automation where relevant

  • Knowledge of metadata optimization strategies for digital and streaming platforms
